Chanel N 5 EDT 100ml
In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to create “a women's perfume that smells like a woman”. Beaux presented her with a visionary composition that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample of the fragrance and decided to name it simply N°5. In 1924, she launched N°5 Eau de Toilette, a warm and bright version of the now and forever fragrance.
COMPOSITION
Powerful top notes, dominated by Ylang-Ylang and Neroli, are enhanced by aldehydes. At the heart of the fragrance is the fullness of a magnificent Floral accord with Rose and Jasmine. A base of Vanilla, Vetiver and Sandalwood creates a warm and vibrant trail.
HOW TO APPLY
The Eau de Toilette comes in spray format for more generous use with a gentle application to the skin or clothing.
Top notes are Aldehydes, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Amalfi Lemon and Bergamot.
The heart notes are Iris, Jasmine, Rose, Orris Root or Florentine Lily and Lily-of-the-Valley.
The base notes are Civet, Sandalwood, Musk, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Amber, Vanilla and Patchouli or Oriza.
