The brand Azzaro was founded by fashion designer Loris Azzaro, a stylist of Tunisian origin, but naturalized French, who stood out for his sophisticated and luxurious approach in the fashion world. He was born in 1933, in Tunis, and, after moving to Paris in the 50s, began working as an assistant to renowned designers, until finally founding his own brand.

The first perfume from Azzaro was launched in 1975, named "Azzaro Pour Homme". This men's perfume became a true icon, being one of the most emblematic fragrances of the 70s. Created by perfumers Marc Chaillan and Gerard Anthony, Azzaro Pour Homme is an aromatic and woody fragrance that blends notes of lavender, lemon, oakmoss, and sandalwood, reflecting an elegant and masculine style.
